Help shape financial management in a growing organisation, where environmental data and digital decision support help solve the societal challenges of the future.
Danmarks Miljøportal, 8 July 2025
Over the past few years, Danmarks Miljøportal has undergone a remarkable transformation—from primarily delivering registration systems for environmental and nature data entry to now providing advanced decision-support tools for large-scale socio-economic and environmental challenges. Examples include MARS, the central system for the Green Tripartite Agreement; KAMP, which supports climate adaptation; and EA Tools, used for environmental assessments.
This shift has led to a significant increase in our activity level—from approximately DKK 45 million to DKK 85 million annually. At the same time, the complexity of our financial management has grown, as additional funding now comes from a broad range of sources, including the state, municipalities, regions, and both Danish and EU-based research and development programmes.
We are therefore seeking a Finance manager to help us build the necessary processes and structures to manage this increased complexity. In your role, you will be supported by an accounting assistant responsible for bookkeeping and related tasks.
Qualifications
You will typically have worked for a long time with financial management. Maybe you are at the end of your career and want a meaningful job where you can use the many skills you have gained through your previous positions, maybe it is completely different motives that drive you.
As a person, you are conscientious, orderly and able to present complex financial issues in an understandable way. You are a person who rests in yourself and is able to handle disagreements professionally. You value an informal working environment where the focus is on joint task solving rather than individual performance.
What we offer

The opportunity to shape our financial management based on your experience and expertise. Possibility of two weekly homework days and flexible meeting times.
